wHO WE ARE...
The Heart for Africa Missions organization was born out of a vision. Connie Philipenko has always had a burning desire for Africa and the African children. From the time when she was a little child she longed to go to Africa. In 2005 Connie was able to embark on a mission trip to Kakuma, Kenya Africa.
Once returning home from this trip the memories of the children were embed ed in her mind forever. Thus, she started this organization. Connie is heading up numerous missions to the many countries in Africa.
The gift:
Once returning home from Africa in 2005 Connie was bonded with africa like never before. She sold her 5 bedroom house and moved into a two bedroom apartment. She eliminated the small things in life that won't matter in the end. immediately she began planning for her next trip to Kampala, Uganda to work with street children. Too many of us worry about what we have or what we need instead of what God wants for us. Connie has taken this step in faith and is asking for others to do the same.
Come and join with us as we embark on saving Africa one village at a time. The things of this world will not matter in the end, only the lives that you helped find Jesus.
